Square tricks and tips of Natural numbers (75 to 99) for competitive exams

I am going to guide you for faster calculation of square with the help of some tricks. If you have prepared the procedure/ trick for the square of natural numbers from 25 to 75 then this tricky method of calculation of square of other numbers will help you to save your time in calculation of the square of numbers (74 to 99),
 but practice is needed & compulsory. Its a expert advice not to avoid it.

In this range we use the trick which uses 100 & the number itself

Method :-

Step 1^st :- Subtract the numbers from 100 & get the difference.

Step 2^nd :- Now subtract the above difference from the number  & get the result.

STEP 3^rd :- Now follow the above result with the square of the difference of 1^st step in 2- digit only

Demonstration of above method:-

99² →   Step 1^st    100 – 99 = 01

             Step 2^nd   99 - 01 = 98

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 98(01)² → 9801

Get the required answer 99² = 9801

98² →   Step 1^st    100 – 98 = 02

             Step 2^nd   98 - 02 = 96

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 96(02)² → 9604

Get the required answer 98² = 9604

97² →   Step 1^st    100 – 97 = 03

             Step 2^nd   97 - 03 = 94

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 94(03)² → 9409

Get the required answer 97² = 9409

96² →   Step 1^st    100 – 96 = 04

             Step 2^nd   96 - 04 = 92

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 92(04)² → 9216

Get the required answer 96² = 9216

94² →   Step 1^st    100 – 94 = 06

             Step 2^nd   94 - 06 = 88

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 88(06)² → 8836

Get the required answer 94² = 8836

93² →   Step 1^st    100 – 93 = 07

             Step 2^nd   93 - 07 = 86

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 86(07)² → 8649

Get the required answer 93² = 8649

92² →   Step 1^st    100 – 92 = 08

             Step 2^nd   92 -  08 = 84

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 84(08)² → 8464

Get the required answer 92² = 8464

91² →   Step 1^st    100 – 91 = 09

             Step 2^nd   91 - 09 = 82

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 82(09)² → 8281

Get the required answer 91² = 8281

89² →   Step 1^st    100 – 89 = 11

             Step 2^nd   89 - 11 = 78

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 78(11)² → 78(121) →     7 (8+1) 21 →7921

Get the required answer 89² = 7921

88² →   Step 1^st    100 – 88 = 12

             Step 2^nd   88 - 12 = 76

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 76(12)² → 76(144) →     7 (6+1) 44 →7744

Get the required answer 88² = 7744

87² →   Step 1^st    100 – 87 = 13

             Step 2^nd   87 - 13 = 74

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 74(13)² → 74(169) →     7 (4+1) 69 →7569

Get the required answer 87² = 7569

86² →   Step 1^st    100 – 86 = 14

             Step 2^nd   86 - 14 = 72

             Step 3^rd   Arrange it like this 72(14)² → 72(196) →    7 (2+1) 96 →7396

Get the required answer 86² = 7396
