One – Word Substitution Day - One

 One-word substitution is a section in English in which a student has to work hard himself. This section gives 5 Questions in the competitive exams like SSC. A student has to learn these one- words for exam. A collection of about 500 one- word substitutions must  be learnt.
According to the analysis which not possible for any student to prepare one time therefore I suggest to prepare 10 one- words per day which I will provide on this blog daily after a deep analysis. I personally suggest and advise you to prepare the given target daily.

ONE- WORD SUBSTITUTION (COLLECTION FOR DAY- 1)

0                  2.  Cessation of war before a treaty is signed.                   → Armistice.

0                  4.  A disagreeable vocal sound.                                           → Cacophony.

0                  5.  Belonging or pertaining to an individual from birth. → Congenital. 

0                  6.  An insect with many legs.                                                 → Centipede.

0                  7.  To find fault.                                                                        → Censured.

0                  8.  The action of looking back upon the past.                       → Retrospection.

0                  9.  The use or the practice of using new words.                   → Neologism.


                    10.  An office with no work but high salary.                           → Sinecure.
