Squares tips - Numbers Ending in 5

                                 

Here I am going to guide you for faster calculation of square with the help of some tricks. If you have learnt the square of natural numbers from 1 to 25 then this tricky method of calculation of square of other numbers will help you to save your time in calculation but practice is needed & compulsory.
Its a expert advice not to avoid it.

Method :-

Step 1^st :- First of all multiply the digit of tenth place with the next consecutive natural number.

Example given number is 115² → to get the required answer first to do is (consider 11 as tenth place digit now 11 × 12= 132)

Step 2^nd :- Now follow the product of 1^st step by 5² =25. 

Example the product of first step is 132, now place 5²= 25 just next to the product (i.e 13225) hence the required answer 115² = 13225

Some of the other examples are:-

5² = 25

15² = 225 (tenth place digit 1×2=2)

25² = 625 (tenth place digit 2×3=6)

35² = 1225 (tenth place digit 3×4=12)

45² = 2025 (tenth place digit 4×5=20)

55² = 3025 (tenth place digit 5×6=30)

65² = 4225 (tenth place digit 6×7=42)

75² = 5625 (tenth place digit 7×8=56)

85² = 7225 (tenth place digit 8×9=72)

95² = 9025 (tenth place digit 9×10=90)

105² = 11025 (tenth place digit 10×11=110)

115² = 13225 (tenth place digit 11×12=132)
