One- word Substitution Part- 1st

One-word substitution is a section in English in which a student has to work hard himself. This section gives 5 Questions in the competitive exams like SSC. A student has to learn these one- words for exam. A collection of about 500 one- word substitutions must  be learnt. Here in my blog I will present you selected collections of this topic, which will help you to prepare yourself for such questions in the exams. I personally suggest and advise you to prepare the given target daily.

Ø  An official agreement to a proposal.                                   → Assent.
Ø  Having more than one meaning.                                         → Ambiguous/Equivocal.
Ø  Ritual washing of the body.                                                 → Ablution.
Ø  Government by person of highest social order.               → Aristocracy.
